I’ve been the Creative Director / Lead Designer for the Henrietta Lacks Memorial Lecture Series since 2022- held yearly by Johns Hopkins to honor the legacy of Mrs. Lacks.

I overhauled the identity in ‘22, and each year I create a new spin based on those guides with a full suite of deliverables including motion design, print, ads, social media, etc. I work directly with members of the Lacks family to ensure they’re happy with how Henrietta and her story are represented.

The event continues to be a success with 500+ yearly guests, and 100+ virtual attendees tuning in to stream globally.
